An artist who aims to shed light on the beauty of Black womanhood and a nonprofit that promotes black excellence have teamed up for a series of meet and greets during this year's ArtPrize.

The Urban Institute for Contemporary Arts (UICA) opened its new location on Thursday, Sept. 9 at Kendall College of Art & Design’s main campus, 17 Pearl St. NW in Grand Rapids.
