East Grand Rapids is getting a taste of New York luxury.
New York-based fashion brand Luxeire will host a two-day trunk show at Blackbird East Oct. 11-12.
Luxeire will introduce the Renew Collection, featuring wardrobe essentials made from fine Italian fabrics and tailored in NYC. A full range of the Luxeire Signature Line also will be available.
Woodberry Wine in Troy will share tastings of cabernet, sauvignon blanc and a sparkling variety on Friday, and Founders Brewing Co. and MoKAYA chocolates in Grand Rapids will be present to host beer and chocolate pairings on Saturday.
The founder of Luxeire, Gina Kuyers, will be on-site both days for the event and will be helping clients shop for Luxeire items and learn the art of layering.
The Luxeire two-day trunk show will take place 4-7 p.m., Friday, Oct. 11, and noon-4 p.m., Saturday, Oct. 12. Blackbird East is located at 2166 Wealthy St. SE in East Grand Rapids.
