The Grand Rapids Downtown Market is featuring a long menu of spicy specials all day long on Saturday.
The annual Spicy Saturday event, full of “blazin’ bites and strong sips,” will be from 9 a.m.-8 p.m. on Jan. 19 at the market, at 435 Ionia Ave. SW.
This year, Spicy Saturday will feature the first So Cluckin’ Hot spicy wing challenge at noon, hosted by Juju Bird.
Participants will have 10 minutes to eat 12 of Juju Bird’s So Cluckin’ Hot wings.
The winner will receive a $50 gift card to Juju Bird, a $50 gift card to the Downtown Market and a Juju Bird T-shirt. All participants will receive a $5 Juju Bird gift card and a T-shirt.
