Rock band to perform at Pyramid Scheme

A Canadian rock band will make an appearance in Grand Rapids.

Rock duo cleopatrick will perform at 8 p.m. Saturday, Jan. 22, at The Pyramid Scheme, 68 Commerce Ave. SW in downtown Grand Rapids.

The two-member band features guitarist and vocalist Luke Gruntz and drummer Ian Fraser. They, along with their friend Jig Dubé, released the band’s debut album “Bummer” in 2021. The album includes songs such as Victoria Park, Family Van, Good Grief and No Sweat.

“Bummer” was released between multiple sold-out tours in the U.S., Canada and Europe, and the band made appearances at Lollapalooza, Austin City Limits and Reading/Leeds.
