A new health-minded shake shop has opened in town.
Knapp’s Corner Nutrition offers healthful protein shakes and teas and opened this fall in Grand Rapids, at 2121 Celebration Dr. NE, according to Colliers International West Michigan yesterday.
Co-owners David England and Renae Baron opened Knapp’s Corner Nutrition because of a shared passion for helping people live healthier lives.
The shop features over 80 protein shakes, energizing teas and protein coffee drinks.
Baron said they’ve “gained amazing health results” from their products, and they decided to open a store to “help people achieve their personal health goals.”
“Our goal is to offer a central location where people can spend time together, study or grab a shake on the go, all while making healthy choices,” Baron said.
The shop’s shake flavors include birthday cake, brownie batter, lemon raspberry cheesecake, peanut butter-Oreo pie and many more.
All shakes have 24 grams of protein, 21 vitamins and minerals, nine grams of sugar and are around 250 calories, according to Knapp’s Corner Nutrition.
The shop also offers a fall menu featuring pumpkin spice and caramel apple flavors, and it will be rolling out a holiday menu on Dec. 1.
The 1,056-square-foot store received significant renovations, including new flooring, a custom bar to serve products, bathroom updates and new paint, greenery and décor.
Colliers retail advisor Mark Ansara helped the partners find the space.
The regular hours for Knapp’s Corner Nutrition are from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. Monday through Friday and from 9 a.m. to 7 p.m. on Saturday.
