A new vendor has moved into the Downtown Market. Pho 616 opened on Friday morning in the Market Hall.

Owned by business partners Ty Nguyen and Han Lee, Pho 616 offers traditional Vietnamese pho noodle soup, using a recipe that has been passed down through three generations of Nguyen’s family.

Nguyen’s mother, Cam Loan Nguyen, is the restaurant’s head chef.

Pho 616 also offers banh mi, summer rolls and other Vietnamese specialties such as Vietnamese iced coffee.

The space also includes a retail shop carrying Asian produce, packaged Vietnamese food and other items.

The restaurant has counter seating and a patio area for diners wanting a place to enjoy their meal while at the Downtown Market. Pho 616 also offers carryout service.

Pho 616 is open from 9 a.m. – 9 p.m. Monday through Saturday, and 10 a.m. – 7 p.m. on Sunday.
