Almost a year ago, Fresh Thyme Market revamped its Grand Rapids location, 2470 Burton St SE. The 30,000-square-foot community-focused grocer with 71 stores in 10 states throughout the Midwest continues to improve upon the customer experience.

Working with outside vendors like Shipt was going okay, according to the store’s management, but the new system relies on Fresh Thyme employees – with knowledge and expertise – to pick out the items.

From luscious berries to crisp apples and an assortment of vibrant greens, Fresh Thyme’s commitment to local sourcing ensures freshness and flavor in every bite. “We sell more than 600 SKUs (items) from local vendors,” said Jake Runkel, who is in charge of finding local vendors.
