Mother’s Day may be two months away, but on Saturday March 22, West Michigan moms can get a jump on celebrating with a special afternoon of self-care. MomsBloom, an organization dedicated to connecting families with newborns to passionate community members who provide quality, hands-on postpartum support, is hosting a free event called “Rest & Refresh” from 1 p.m. to 3 p.m. at the Mind Body Baby Collective in Grand Rapids.

This rejuvenating afternoon will offer yoga sessions, massages, and wellness gifts from local vendors—perfect for any mom in need of a little relaxation. And there’s more: attendees can enter a raffle for prizes such as yoga memberships and spa packages by donating to MomsBloom, which helps fund its mission to provide emotional and hands-on postpartum support to families across Kent and Ottawa counties.
With many families separated by distance or busy work schedules, new parents often find themselves without the help they need after the birth of a baby. MomsBloom’s mission is to bridge that gap, connecting families with volunteers who offer emotional and practical support in those first crucial months.
The event will also offer complimentary childcare, so moms can unwind and enjoy the experience without worry.
