A national taco joint with a Grand Rapids location will give away free tacos next week in celebration of National Taco Day.
Condado Tacos, a restaurant specializing in signature tacos, tequilas and margaritas, will celebrate National Taco Day by offering each customer one free taco with the purchase of another item, available at dine-in or pickup visits or through delivery orders on the Condado Tacos app.
The giveaway will run from Monday, Oct. 4, through Friday, Oct. 8 at Condado Tacos locations throughout Ohio, Michigan, Indiana, Kentucky, Tennessee and Pennsylvania.
Just in time for the celebration, Condado Tacos will add a new taco option to the menu — Smokin’ Joe Kush, a signature secret-shell taco featuring a soft flour tortilla and jalapeno-cheddar dusted hard shell loaded with smoked cheddar queso, ground beef, refried beans, cilantro, onions, pico de gallo, Middlefield smoked cheddar, pickled jalapenos and dirty sauce.
The Smokin’ Joe Kush taco will join another new menu item, the Loaded Reefer Dip, which comes with bacon refried beans topped with queso blanco and Middlefield smoked cheddar, then loaded with pickled jalapenos, cilantro, onions, dirty sauce and sour cream.
The Harvest Pear Margarita, a seasonal favorite, also will return to the menu for the fall. The drink features reposado tequila, triple sec, house margarita mix, harvest pear fresh fruit puree and a cinnamon sugar rim.
