The Grand Rapids Community Foundation believes we all have a role in philanthropy.
For more than 100 years, people who care about the future of West Michigan have built the Community Foundation. Through the support of its partners, the Community Foundation provides grants to nonprofits, scholarships to students, and other forms of support to communities experiencing inequities. The Community Foundation brings together individuals, nonprofits, and businesses, listens to community members, and learns alongside its many partners. Philanthropy is a community effort.
When people and organizations partner with the Community Foundation, they become an important part of creating a fairer and more equitable region with pathways to success for everyone. Since its start, the Community Foundation has invested more than $338 million in community.
