Tanger Outlets Grand Rapids announced plans for a new outdoor entertainment district shoppers will be able to enjoy beginning this fall.

The new entertainment district will serve as the first for the Tanger portfolio nationwide, and visitors can expect outdoor games, such as a putting green, cornhole and bocce ball, in addition to a social gathering space. This area is expected to continually evolve, adding new entertainment options to best serve shoppers.

The shopping center also is set to welcome 5 Lakes Brew Pub this fall, adding a local culinary experience to its brand lineup.

“Tanger Outlets Grand Rapids is always looking for new additions to our center that supply customers with a more experiential shopping environment,” said Randy Zimmerman, general manager. “We know 5 Lakes Brew Pub has a loyal customer base that will follow the brewery to our property, and it is an honor to add them to our roster alongside some of the best outlet brand names in the area.”

5 Lakes Brew Pub, a locally owned brewery that has built up a loyal following at its original outpost in downtown Dorr, will begin serving brews and bites later this fall in a 10,000-square-foot location across from Selfie WRLD.

In addition to serving domestic beer, local craft beer and its own fan-favorite brewed beer, 5 Lakes Brew Pub also will offer an extended wine list and cocktails. Guests can expect pickle wraps, beer-braised wings, burgers, pizza and more.

The brewery said while the original location in Dorr is closing, guests can expect the same warm-hearted staff and memorable experiences they have come to expect.
