A cleaning and restoration franchise recently opened a Grand Rapids location.
Blue Kangaroo Packoutz, a company that services homes and businesses affected by water or fire damage, now is open at 4740 Talon Court SE, Suite 3, in Grand Rapids.
The company treats items such as furniture, upholstery, artwork, electronics, documents and clothing. The Grand Rapids franchise is owned and operated by Jay Hidalgo.
“I’m excited to be launching a Blue Kangaroo Packoutz (franchise) that will be able to serve the community of Grand Rapids by helping them restore their contents,” Hidalgo said. “It’s just as important to me as it is to our customers we help that we are able to get their items back to pre-loss condition whenever we can.”
Hidalgo has more than eight years of experience as a business and leadership coach. He also has experience in marketing and was the founder of a demand generation consulting firm.
Hidalgo also served as the chief sales and marketing executive at a specialty forgings company.

Blue Kangaroo Packoutz services include assessment and pack-up of all contents, inventorying, secure storage, cleaning and restoration of salvageable items and move-back once the property has been restored.
