ReVigor marketplace will kick off its summer sustainable market season this weekend.

The market will be open and free to the public from 11 a.m.-5 p.m. Saturday, May 13 at Wilcox Park, 100 Youell Ave. SE in Grand Rapids.

The market will run every second Saturday of the month through October and will offer live music and locally sourced products.

The small market focuses on matching local consumers with sustainable, local products and creators to give shoppers a guilt-free shopping experience. ReVigor limits vendors to 20 per market, allowing shoppers to engage with the people from whom they are purchasing.

This weekend’s vendor lineup includes LJ Creations, Chan Art World, Tiny Planet, Solodora Coffee, Witches Cabinet Boutique and more. Live music will be provided by Dee Ginger, Morgan Hailstone and Conor.

The market was founded by Eric Boynton and Minwoo Kim, who were looking for a way to create an enjoyable, responsible way to encourage people in the Grand Rapids area to take action for the environment.

Boynton said reVigor is “by Michiganders, for Michiganders, for the environment.”

In addition to the summer sustainability market, reVigor’s website offers health and beauty products, craft products, kitchen items, home decor, clothing and more. All products are environmentally friendly and support reVigor’s mission.
