Kellogg’s Crackers and actor/singer Kristin Chenoweth are spreading holiday cheer with five “Do It Yuleself” meat-and-cheese platter recipes for the holidays.
The collection of Battle Creek-based Kellogg Company brands said Monday that it is partnering with Chenoweth to show off easy recipes that showcase Town House, Club, Toasteds and Carr’s crackers.
People can follow Chenoweth on Instagram (@kchenoweth) and Twitter (@KChenoweth) to learn about her favorite festive “hands-off” recipes inspired by Kellogg’s Crackers. Each of the five platter recipes — Brunch Brighter, Sweater Weather, Winter Wonderland, Fire and Ice, and ’Tis the Sweetness — are designed to be simple to assemble and fit with every holiday mood, from a festive night indoors to an afternoon spent at a virtual Friendsgiving.
“Holiday gatherings will be different for everyone this year, but one thing will probably still be the same; we will all be looking for something easy, festive and delicious to snack on. Kellogg said Chenoweth, the queen of merry holiday cheer, will show off how the simple platters can bring holiday meals to a whole new octave — no culinary expertise required.
