Beers at the Bridge is continuing its summer concerts with an event from 6-9 p.m. on Friday, July 15, at Leonard Field by the Ada Covered Bridge, 7490 Thornapple River Drive SE.

Guests are invited to purchase food and drinks from local businesses, including Beers at the Bridge presenter, Ada-based Gravel Bottom Craft Brewery, while listening to music by local band Mid-Life Crisis.

The concert will be the rock band’s final performance after 20 years of live music, including several performances at past Beers on the Bridge events.

“From the crowds to the local businesses to the volunteers, Beers at the Bridge is a fun night for everyone involved,” said Kate Landis, Farm Bureau Insurance owner and volunteer sponsor. “This event connects everyone who attends to their local community, and we invite everyone to come enjoy a fun night outside.”

Gravel Bottom Craft Brewery will produce several craft beers and sangria for this summer’s concerts. In addition to adult beverages, several local food vendors will be on site, including Ada Fresh Market, Garage Bar & Grill, Jam’n Bean, MudPenny and, new for this event, Pizza Parliament. Nonalcoholic beverages and water also are available from local vendors, including Brody’s Be Café, which will make its Beers at the Bridge debut with root beer and nitro cold brew.

The 2022 season of Beers at the Bridge, which kicked off June 17, will wrap up Friday, Aug. 19, when the Thirsty Perch Blues Band will take the stage at Leonard Field.
