A recent survey found that Michigan parents would pay an average of $592 for a week away from their children and significant other.

The February survey, which was conducted by house-selling platform ISoldMyHouse.com, asked parents and guardians who have worked from home during the pandemic how much they would hypothetically pay for a week of R&R away from their families.

On average, the 3,050 participants said they would spend $873 for a break from their families. Parents in West Virginia had the highest average at $2,448, while parents in Maine had the lowest at $309.
