Grand Rapids to host events for humans and dogs

Grand Rapids is welcoming the spring season with a variety of downtown events.

Musical artists Crys Matthews and Heather Moe will perform at 7:30 p.m. Wednesday, March 23, in the second floor of The Listening Room, at 123 Ionia Ave. SW. The musical band Jukebox The Ghost will perform the same night at 8 p.m. at The Intersection, at 133 Cesar E. Chavez Ave. SW.

The Grand Rapids Public Library will feature author Christopher Edge at its One Book, One City for Kids virtual event from 4-5 p.m. Friday, March 25 on Zoom. Edge will discuss his book, “The Jamie Drake Equation.”

Dog owners can kick off the Monday blues with a Pop-Up Pup Walk at 5:30 p.m. Monday, March 28, at Ah-Nab-Awen Park, at 220 Front Ave. NW. Registration is available here.
