This fall, Robinette’s is celebrating the 75th anniversary of Peanuts with a special corn maze that promises to delight fans of all ages. Spanning 6.5 acres, the maze features a design of Charlie Brown with his iconic pumpkin, inviting visitors to get lost in the whimsy of Charles Schulz’s beloved world.
From September 3 to November 2, families can explore this Peanuts-themed labyrinth, one of more than 75 such mazes popping up across North America in honor of the comic strip’s milestone anniversary. The tribute to Peanuts, which first appeared in newspapers in 1950, extends far beyond the printed page, capturing the hearts of millions through animated specials, merchandise, and cultural events. The maze at Robinette’s is part of this larger celebration, reflecting the enduring charm of characters like Snoopy, Lucy, Linus, and, of course, Charlie Brown.
Robinette’s, a staple in the Grand Rapids community, is offering more than just a stroll through the cornfields. Visitors can also enjoy horse-drawn wagon rides, a jumping pillow, and a petting zoo on Sundays. For those who crave the tastes of autumn, cider and donuts are on hand, along with wine tasting for the adults. The maze is open Monday through Saturday from 10 a.m. until the last entry at 5 p.m., and on Sundays from noon until 5 p.m. Admission is $10 per person for those aged 2 and up.
Peanuts has been a constant companion for generations, providing a gentle reflection on life’s ups and downs through the eyes of Charlie Brown and his friends. Whether it’s Snoopy’s daydreams of flying a World War I fighter plane or Lucy’s ever-hopeful psychiatry booth, the world of Peanuts is one that continues to resonate. This corn maze at Robinette’s is a fitting tribute to Schulz’s legacy—a place where visitors can lose themselves in the simple joys that have made Peanuts a cultural touchstone.
