Whether you’re a newbie or a lifer, we’re certain our july issue will help you discover new and interesting activities, events, and places to explore!
GR has an array of unique neighborhoods — each with their own subcultures and traditions. This year’s Guide explores many of the unique, hidden gems to be found within each of these charming districts that collectively weave into the fabric that is #GrandRapids.
The famed rapids of the Grand River are paddling towards a historic return. We’re checking in with the leaders of Grand Rapids Whitewater (GRWW) for an update on this reinvigorating project that promises significant environmental, social, cultural, and economic benefits to the city.
If comfort food is your thing (yes, please!), we’ve also got a dining review of Noco Provisions, located in the space once occupied by The Forest Hills Inn on Cascade Road. This trendy eatery, which opened almost one year ago, offers a seasonally-driven menu of regional comfort classics that have a lot of people talking (and chewing).
Other highlights include a visit to Citizen, a tiki bar and restaurant that has been a great addition to the Creston neighborhood, and our ‘top 5 fun runs’. And the front cover never lies… inside you’ll find hundreds of restaurants, museums, festivals, parks, music venues, galleries and more! Of course, we also have our famous 2-for-1 Dining Coupon; this month, enjoy Al-Bos Eurocafe-Bakery.
