Grand Rapids Community Foundation is a nonprofit organization that connects people, passion, and resources. Alongside its partners, the Community Foundation uses the tools of philanthropy to fi nd solutions to pressing issues. The Community Foundation provides grants to support nonprofi t work, scholarships for local students, and other forms of support to communities working to eliminate inequities.
The Community Foundation is guided by its North Star: “The people of West Michigan deserve to thrive. Together, we must ensure everyone has access to opportunity, prosperity and belonging. It is only by embracing our differences and overcoming inequities that we can create a more vibrant community.”
The Community Foundation helps local philanthropists leave a lasting legacy by stewarding their assets to accomplish their unique goals, today and beyond their lifetime.
