It’s the time of year again to catch up on all the Oscar-nominated films from 2019.
If you want to be aware of what’s up in the short films categories, your chances of seeing them are limited.
There are multiple films in the running in three categories: animation, live action and documentary.
The Urban Institute for Contemporary Art downtown is showing the Oscar Shorts 2020: Animation films from Feb. 7-March 26.
Oscar Shorts 2020: Live Action will run from Feb. 7-March 21.
The documentary films are being shown in two parts. Oscar Shorts 2020: Documentary A will run Feb. 21-April 19. Oscar Shorts 2020: Documentary B will run Feb. 21-May 14.
Tickets are $5 for members and $10 for nonmembers.
