National singer to take the stage in Grand Rapids

Waxahatchee will make a stop in Grand Rapids during her international music tour.

The singer/songwriter also known as Katie Crutchfield will perform at 7 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 19 at Fountain Street Church, 24 Fountain St. NE in Grand Rapids.

Waxahatchee released her latest album, “Saint Cloud,” in spring 2020, at the beginning of the pandemic, and recently released her newest single called “Tomorrow” from “El Deafo,” a new animated show on Apple TV+.

She also has performed on Jimmy Kimmel Live and CBS This Morning. Her songs “Fire,” “Lilacs” and “Can’t Do Much” from her album “Saint Cloud” were on the list of former President Barack Obama’s favorite songs of 2020.
