Longtime international guitarist Leo Kottke will take the stage at St. Cecilia Music Center.
Kottke will perform at 7:30 p.m. Nov. 19 at the music center, at 24 Ransom Ave. NE. in Grand Rapids.
“Leo Kottke has a large fan base in West Michigan, and it’s always a pleasure to bring him to St. Cecilia Music Center,” said Cathy Holbrook, executive and artistic director. “Leo not only performs with genius guitar-picking precision on his six and 12 string guitars, he’s also a great storyteller recalling many humorous experiences.”
The two-time Grammy nominee has 42 years of touring experience, including in Europe and Australia.
Kottke released nearly 30 albums through his career. Some of his songs include “Greenhouse,” “Clone,” “Sixty Six Steps,” “My Feet Are Smiling,” “Mudlark,” “Ice Water” and “Chewing Pine.” He also has collaborated with Phish bassist Mike Gordon.
