John Ball Zoo will be hosting its second Adult Night Out this season from 5:15-9 p.m. Thursday.
The event is for adults 21 years old and older. The zoo is offering four entrance times —5:15 p.m., 5:45 p.m., 6:15 p.m. and 6:30 p.m. — to help with social distancing.
Patrons can walk around the zoo and learn more about the animals and their habitats with specialty drinks, food and beer — including the new JBZ beer, which was created in partnership with Brewery Vivant — available.
Masks will be required for those medically able to wear them when they are visiting indoor habitats, and for outdoor areas where 6 feet of distance is not possible between guests. Guests are asked to bring their own masks.
Tickets are limited and can be purchased online for $18 for members or $20 for nonmembers at jbzoo.org/adultnightout. Tickets also can be purchased or at the Zoo’s main entrance, but availability is not guaranteed.
