Although baseball season is over, players can still swing their bats at a new indoor hitting facility.
Bombers Hitting Club recently opened in Wyoming, at 900 47th St.
“We have six hitting stations and two pitching lanes,” said Marc Uturo, co-owner, Bombers Hitting Club.
Uturo added that the space’s netting is “fully retractable” to open the 7,000-square-foot training floor for fielding and base-running drills. For those who need assistance, there are time slots available with an on-site trainer.
Bombers also plans to host adult kickball and Wiffle Ball tournaments.
While players can bring their equipment, Bombers does provide equipment, such as bats and helmets.
The facility can also host birthday parties, team-building events, bachelor parties and company events. The front of the space has an arcade and a store.
Bombers Hitting Club is open Monday through Thursday from 3-9 p.m., Friday from 3-11 p.m., Saturday from 11 a.m. to 11 p.m. and Sunday from noon to 9 p.m.
