The Radisson Plaza Hotel & Suites in downtown Kalamazoo is undergoing a multi-million-dollar renovation project expected to be completed by the end of summer 2022.

The project includes the renovation of the hotel’s lobby, atrium, guest rooms, guest floor corridors and the addition of a new restaurant.

The 338 guest rooms will be upgraded to include new technology and entertainment amenities, as well as a new mobile check-in service. The bathrooms will feature a rainfall walk-in shower and accent lighting.

The lower level, lobby and second level will feature open spaces for guests to work, socialize and relax.

The hotel will open Brick and Brine, a restaurant with a main dining room, bar and lounge seating and three private event spaces. The restaurant also will include sliding glass walls.

“I’m thrilled with this next wave of investment that will update our look and feel for hotel and conference guests alike,” CEO Tim Rayman said. “The elevation of our spaces, in-room technology and guest check-in process aligns with providing an unsurpassed hospitality experience, one we’re confident that guests will quickly take notice of.
