Dinosaurs will come alive in Grand Rapids.

More than 100 realistic dinosaurs will be featured at Jurassic Quest from 1-8 p.m. Friday, Jan. 7, and 9 a.m.-8 p.m. Saturday, Jan. 8, and Sunday Jan. 9, at DeVos Place, at 303 Monroe Ave. NW in downtown Grand Rapids.

Guests will go back in time to the Cretaceous, Jurassic and Triassic periods as they view the Ancient Oceans exhibit; a moving, life-sized, 50-foot-long megalodon; and baby dinosaurs Cammie the Camarasaurus, Tyson the T-Rex and Trixie the Triceratops.

The lifelike dinosaurs will be displayed in realistic scenes as they move and roar. Jurassic Quest partnered with paleontologists to ensure each dinosaur is replicated in every detail, from coloration and teeth size to textured skin and fur or feathers.

In addition to dinosaurs, there will be dinosaur-themed rides, live dinosaur shows, interactive science and art activities, a “Triceratots” soft play area, bounce houses, inflatable attractions and photo opportunities.
