The 83rd annual Kent County Youth Fair begins today.
The fair, held in Lowell, at 225 S. Hudson St. SE, runs through Saturday. It is free to attend, though parking costs $6 for a day pass or $18 for the week.
Attendees can visit the livestock barns, enjoy a variety of games and rides at the carnival and watch several free entertainment acts.
The fair is open daily from 9 a.m. to 11 p.m.
Daily Events:
Racing Pigs
Runs held daily at 1, 4 & 7 p.m. and Saturday at 1, 3 & 5 p.m.
Bingo
Everyday 1-5 p.m. and 6-10 p.m.
Meijer Children’s Barn Yard
Kids young and old will love checking out the cute animals.
Ag Adventure
Play and learn about livestock and agriculture in the informational barnyard. A schedule is available near the exhibit with a listing of daily activities.
Ninjas on the Move
Run a full-scale obstacle course just like a real American Ninja Warrior. The course will be next to the Racing Pigs. Monday – Friday from 4 to 9 p.m. and Saturday from noon to 9 p.m. The event is free.
