An indie pop duo is making a stop in Grand Rapids.

Hovvdy will perform at 7 p.m. Tuesday, May 3, at The Pyramid Scheme, at 68 Commerce Ave. SW.

The band will promote its 2021 album “True Love” and will appear alongside singer Molly Parden.

The Austin, Texas-based duo Charlie Martin and Will Taylor released new singles “Town” and “Everything” ahead of their North American tour with Parden and Los Angeles-based musician Mini Trees. Their most recent album “True Love” won critical acclaim with American Songwriter, Austin Chronicle and others describing the record as “authentic,” “triumphant” and “mature.”

“Town” was co-produced with Andrew Sarlo, a producer and writer for Bon Iver, Maggie Rogers and Big Thief.

Doors open at 7 p.m. Tickets are available here.
