Classical music’s most beloved composers, Haydn, Mozart and Beethoven, are at the center of this weekend’s Grand Rapids Symphony concert.

The symphony is also celebrating its 89th birthday, which happens to fall on Jan. 11. The Grand Rapids Symphony Society was officially organized on Jan. 11, 1930.

In celebration, music director Marcelo Lehninger will lead the orchestra in Haydn’s Symphony No. 89 as part of the performance.

The concert takes place at St. Cecilia Music Center at 8 p.m. For tickets visit Grand Rapids Symphony.
