Circle Theatre will be partnering with Paddock Place to host a Circle Summer Fundraising Concert Series at 7 p.m. July 8 at Paddock Place, 1033 Lake Drive SE.

The fundraiser will support Circle Theatre, which was forced to postpone its 68th season due to COVID-19.

The outdoor concert series will feature musical highlights from past Circle Theatre concert performances and West Michigan musicians. Patrons can watch in beach chairs or with a blanket on the lawn of Paddock Place. There will be social distance requirements.

A three-course picnic basket will be available for concertgoers, which includes a starter, main dish and dessert. Food options include hummus, red skin potato salad, Carolina shredded pork, vegetarian sushi, fruit and ganache, brownie bites and more. Bottles of wine also will be available as an add-on to picnic baskets.

Tickets are $25 and an additional $30 with the purchase of a three-course Paddock Place Picnic Basket. All proceeds go directly to Circle Theatre.

The goal is to raise $200,000 for Circle Theatre to cover its costs. The theater has raised $75,000 so far with the support of the community. The theater noted there will be more fundraising and pop-up concerts.
