Just two months after unveiling a fresh menu and kicking off exciting interior updates, Green Well is back with something equally exciting for its loyal fans—weekend brunch at the 18-year-old East Hills favorite.
Starting Sunday, March 29, Green Well will be open for brunch service on Saturdays and Sundays from 10 a.m. to 3 pm.
“We’ve always believed that great food brings people together,” said chief operating officer Tristan Walczewski in a social media post to followers. “Over the past few months, we’ve loved seeing the excitement and support for our new dinner concept. Now, we’re bringing that same passion to brunch! We saw an opportunity in our beloved neighborhood to create a new brunch experience inspired by fresh, seasonal ingredients with bold, nostalgic flavors. Every dish will be made from scratch, every sip will feel like a weekend well spent and our refreshed space is the perfect place to enjoy it all.”
Owned by Essence Restaurant Group, which includes local favorites Lucy’s, Bistro Bella Vita, and Grove, Green Well has always led the way by trying new concepts, menu items, and settings, but the one constant has always been its dedication to hospitality and providing an unmatched experience for its patrons.
Green Well’s new brunch experience, drawing inspiration from its Neighborhood American cuisine dinner menu, introduces a nostalgic and comforting selection of dishes. Brunch-goers can indulge in an array of classic comfort food, with items that evoke a sense of familiarity and warmth.
For breakfast sandwiches, the menu offers standout options like the Anthony Bourdain’s Fried Mortadella Sandwich, which layers a sourdough roll with Dijon aioli, provolone, and a fried egg. Another popular choice is the Duck BLT, a savory creation of duck confit, house-made duck bacon, tomato jam, arugula, and orange aioli, all nestled in a soft focaccia.
The mains feature a variety of hearty options. The Frittata, filled with sundried tomatoes, spinach, feta, and topped with herb crème fraîche, promises a flavorful start to the day. For something more indulgent, the Pork Belly Benedict delivers poached eggs, caramelized onion, and hollandaise over an English muffin. The Chicken & Waffles puts a twist on the classic, offering crispy fried quail served with a buckwheat waffle and maple syrup. The Pastrami Hash brings together house-made pastrami, sauerkraut, roasted red peppers, caramelized onion, and remoulade, all paired with a comforting mix of potato and egg.
To satisfy sweet cravings, guests can enjoy a Banana Custard Filled Long John or indulge in house-made Cinnamon Rolls, both perfect for those with a sweet tooth.
Brunch beverages are equally exciting, with scratch-made cocktails like house-made Bloody Marys, Corpse Revivers, and other brunch specialties. Mimosas are available with bottle service, and the expanded wine selection promises to delight with an extra splash of bubbles.
This revamped brunch menu at Green Well blends comfort and nostalgia, offering guests an inviting experience full of familiar flavors with a refreshing twist.
“This new menu offering, along with our revitalized interior, will enhance the dining experience and create a cozy, intimate environment that both augments and highlights our Neighborhood American cuisine—darker colors, warmer feeling, vintage and contemporary artwork and our favorite color—green!” Walczewski added.
