The sun is out, the food is fresh, and the drinks are cold. All is as it should be, as summer has officially arrived at the center of the universe.
Paddock Place, the memorable eatery and Italianate-style mansion located in the heart of East Hills, is ready for warm weather with a new menu, outdoor dining and ample space for memorable gatherings.
The change of season has ushered in a new menu at Paddock Place. Highlighted by fresh seasonal ingredients, new offerings include the Summer Burrata (heirloom tomatoes, house-pickled beets, strawberries, fresh picked mint), Crab & Avocado Salad (lump crab, sliced avocado, summer squash, pickled beans) and Herb-Crusted Faroe Island Salmon (tomato-basil couscous, olive tapenade).
Of course, no summer menu release would be complete without proper cocktail offerings. The seasonal beverage menu includes seven new craft cocktails, including a Gin Mule, Blood Orange Old Fashioned and Blackberry Margarita. Paddock Place is also bringing back its legendary housemade sangria flights and mojito flights for the summer months. Sunday brunch also features a build-your-own bloody mary bar from 11 a.m.-3 p.m.
Guests have the option to enjoy a meal outdoors on the patio or the lawn, which now are open in addition to the variety of uniquely themed rooms available inside the mansion. The lawn is dog-friendly, and there always are a variety of lawn games available.
The mansion and grounds are extensive and provide a variety of unique spaces for private dining and events such as birthday parties, wine dinners, art shows, fundraisers, rehearsal dinners, corporate events and weddings. Paddock Place has a storied history dating back to 1879. The house is listed on the National Register of Historic Places.
