A local farmers market will have a spring rummage sale.

Fulton Street Farmers Market will host its rummage sale event from 12-3 p.m. Sunday, April 24, at 1145 E. Fulton St. in Grand Rapids.

Market space is sold out for the event, and all 118 vendor stalls will be filled with gently used items for sale.

The goal of the event is to “keep unwanted items out of landfills and give them a new home,” according to the market’s Facebook post.

Around Baking Company and Patty Matters will have food trucks on site to sell pizza and burgers for hungry shoppers.

Fulton Street Farmers Market will kick off its main season on Saturday, May 7. Hours of operation will be 8 a.m.-2 p.m. Wednesday, Friday and Saturday until Oct. 29.

The market said it plans to host another rummage sale event this fall.
