A nature-inspired market will take place this Mother’s Day weekend.

Blandford Nature Center is bringing back its biannual Nature Makers Market from 9 a.m.-3 p.m. Saturday, May 7, at the nature center at 1715 Hillburn Ave. NW in Grand Rapids.

The market highlights local artists in the Grand Rapids area who create products inspired by nature or use natural or sustainable materials.

“We’re glad that we could bring the Nature Makers Market back just in time for Mother’s Day,” said Heather Lewis, program manager at Blandford Nature Center. “This is a great opportunity for families to spend time together while supporting local artists and enjoying nature.”

This year’s event will feature 16 local vendors selling textiles, prints, ceramics, glassworks, jewelry, stationery and stickers.
