A women’s fashion retailer offering complimentary fashion consulting is preparing to open another store.

Next spring, White House Black Market will join the lineup of retailers in the recently opened Von Maur wing of Woodland Mall in Kentwood, according to the mall today.

Contrary to its name, the store’s collections reflect a wide variety of colors, prints and styles.

The retailer offers styling services to help shoppers transform their closets and style and create unique looks.

The new store will be located next to the recently relocated Williams-Sonoma and feature new store prototypes.

White House Black Market began as two small Baltimore boutiques: The White House, opened in 1985; and Black Market, opened in 1995.

Acquired by Chico’s FAS in 2003, the brand is dedicated to providing a modern wardrobe for the way women live now, offering customers a collection of versatile pieces.

The retailer also has West Michigan locations at RiverTown Crossings in Grandville, Tanger Outlets in Byron Center and in Holland.
