A new cannabis provisioning center will open this weekend in Muskegon.

Grassy Knoll will host a grand-opening ceremony from 11 a.m.-3 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 20, at its new facility, 2125 Lemuel St. in Muskegon.

“We’ve been in the CBD business with our Grassy Knoll store in Grand Rapids since 2017 and have always had our eye on moving into cannabis proper,” said Grassy Knoll Co-owner and CEO Fred Cini. “The Muskegon market was very appealing, and we are so happy to be part of this thriving cannabis community.”

The event will include music by Muskegon native DJ PRIM, tacos by Kayla’s Tacos, cookies from Morat’s Bakery, coffee from Aldea Coffee, cannabis vendor swag, giveaways, and cider and doughnuts provided by Grand Remedy.

Muskegon’s Mayor-elect and cannabis advocate Ken Johnson will be in attendance. The event is open to the public and dog friendly.

Grassy Knoll is partnering with the Noah Project, a no-kill animal rescue shelter in Muskegon, and will host an on-site mini adoption event during the grand opening. The Grassy Knoll will pay half of the neutering fee for adoptees that day and donate a portion of pet CBD sales to the Noah Project.

“Next to cannabis and CBD, we’re all about animals,” Cini said. “Our rescued dogs are like family, and we wanted to have our grand opening reflect that passion.”
