Kent County offers mobile vaccine clinics

The Kent County Health Department, Hispanic Center of Western Michigan, North Kent Connect, Seeds of Promise and Vaccinate West Michigan are partnering to offer mobile vaccination clinics throughout Kent County in September.

The Pfizer vaccine will be offered Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays to those ages 12 and older. The Johnson & Johnson vaccine will be available if it is requested to those who are 18 years or old.

Children between the ages of 12 and 16 must be accompanied by a parent or guardian. Those who are 16 or 17 must either be accompanied by a parent or guardian or have a permission note from a parent or guardian and a driver who is at least 18 years of age.

Mobile clinics will be on:

  • Tuesdays: 1-3 p.m., North Kent Connect, 10075 Northland Drive NE, Rockford
  • Wednesdays: 1-4 p.m., Hispanic Center of Western Michigan, 12054 Grandville Ave. SW, Grand Rapids
  • Thursdays: 1-3 p.m., Great Giant Supermarket (parking lot), 226 Madison Ave. SE, Grand RapidsD
