Breakout your comfy pants, Restaurant Week kicks off on Wednesday.
The 12-day event runs through Sunday, Aug. 20, with 75 Grand Rapids restaurants participating, several offering both lunch and dinner menus.
Restaurant Week dinner menus will include either three-course menus for $28 per person or three-course menus for $28 for two people depending on the restaurant. Lunch has been added this year at more than 25 participating restaurants. These restaurants will offer a two-course meal for $14 per person.
Restaurant Week benefits the Secchia Institute for Culinary Education Student Scholarship Fund at Grand Rapids Community College, with $1 from each meal sold donated to the fund.
