One Bourbon offering holiday cocktail gift baskets

The restaurant One Bourbon is taking orders for its holiday cocktail kits starting Wednesday.

“(The gift baskets have) everything you need to make the holiday extra special, or at least tolerable … with whiskey,” the restaurant said.

Each cocktail kit comes with the ingredients to make a One Bourbon signature cocktail, including whiskey, syrups, shrubs, bitters, or drams pre-mixed with bitters and liquors. Garnishes also are included, as well as glassware from One Bourbon’s distillery partners. A recipe card is included. Only ice will be needed to complete the recipes.

After customers place an order, they will receive an email to schedule a pick-up time. Pick-ups are between Wednesday, Dec. 1, and Thursday, Dec. 23.

The baskets (priced low to high)

• One Bourbon homemade eggnog: 16 ounces of homemade eggnog wrapped in a Mason jar with bourbon, cognac, Jamaican dark rum, whole milk, heavy cream, half and half, eggs and spices. Contains raw egg. $21.
• Benchmark burnt orange and vanilla old fashioned kit: Benchmark bourbon, burnt orange and vanilla old fashioned syrup and dehydrated orange slices. The cocktail kits come in a craft paper bag with navy blue tissue and a jute tie. Benchmark basket, $31, makes 12 cocktails.
• Old Forester 1910 blackberry thyme smash cocktail kit: Old Forester 1910 bourbon; blackberry, hibiscus and thyme syrup; and fresh limes. The cocktail kits come wrapped in a cream/gray cotton rope woven basket with two Old Forester rocks glasses and a One Bourbon pin. • New Riff pecan and peach old fashioned kit: New Riff Single Barrel Bourbon, toasted pecan and peach old fashioned syrup and candied pecans. The cocktail kit comes wrapped in a cream/gray cotton rope woven basket, with two New Riff Glencairn glasses and a One Bourbon pin. New Riff basket, $78.99, makes 12 cocktails.
• Iron Fish Two Peninsulas burnt orange and vanilla old fashioned basket: Iron Fish Two Peninsulas whiskey, burnt orange and vanilla old fashioned syrup and dehydrated orange slices. The cocktail kits come wrapped in a cream/gray cotton rope woven basket with two Iron Fish rocks glasses and a One Bourbon pin. The Iron Fish basket, $87.99, will make 12 burnt orange and vanilla old fashioned drinks.
• Makers 46 café du monde cocktail kit: Maker’s 46, chicory-infused Eastern Kille coffee liqueur, bitters and Ardbeg scotch rinse presented in a 375-millileter Maker’s Mark trademarked bottle. The cocktail kits come wrapped in a cream/gray cotton rope woven basket with Maker’s Mark tissue paper, two coffee mugs, a tote bag and labeled with a Maker’s Mark holiday tag.
