The Michigan Brewers Guild will host the Winter Beer Festival this weekend.

The guild said it will host the 16th annual Michigan Winter Beer Festival from 1-6 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 26, at the LMCU Ballpark at 4500 W. River Drive in Comstock Park.

More than 700 unique beers in nearly 100 different styles will be available for sampling throughout the day.

Tickets, on sale here, are $55 each and include 15 three-ounce sample tokens.

Enthusiast members of the guild will be admitted one hour early, and those interested in becoming a member can join for $35.

Musical entertainment for this year’s Winter Beer Festival includes EPCYA and Slumlord Radio. The annual singing of the “Michigan Great Beer State Fight Song and Welcome Toast” will take place near the entertainment stage around 3:30 p.m.

A variety of food will be available for purchase from the West Michigan Whitecaps concessions team.

As with all MBG festivals, this is an outside event, and attendees are encouraged to dress for the weather. Fire pits will be set up around the festival site. The event will be held snow, rain or shine, and refunds will not be issued. Attendees must be 21 or old to enter, with a valid ID required.
