Attendees of the Ada Chili and Beer Festival will enjoy a variety of beer and homemade chilis in support of charity.

The annual, all-ages festival will take place 11 a.m.-4 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 4, on the grounds of The Community Church – Ada at 7239 Thornapple River Drive SE in downtown Ada and will include beer from breweries across Michigan and a chili cook-off.

Event proceeds are traditionally given to two nonprofits, with this year’s beneficiaries including the church and Ronald McDonald House of Western Michigan (RMHWM).

The festival, which has taken place since 2018, sees approximately 4,500 attendees each year. The 2021 event will support RMHWM’s programming, which provides families whose children are undergoing medical care in Grand Rapids with a free place to stay, a warm meal and amenities.

The event is free to attend, but tickets are required for food and drink tasting and can be purchased onsite.

More information is on the Ada Chili and Beer Festival Facebook page.
