IT’S ALIVE! The Wyoming Theater Company is delighted to present its spring production, from the mastermind of Mel Brooks, “Young Frankenstein.”
Brooks, whose credits include “The Producers,” “Space Balls” and “Blazing Saddles,” continues his gift of parody in this production of Young Frankenstein.
When Frederick Frankenstein, the grandson of the infamous Victor Frankenstein, inherits his family’s estate in Transylvania, Frederick finds himself accepting his ancestors’ knack for wacky and bizarre science. With the help of his hunchback side-kick Igor and his attractive lab assistant, Inga, he brings to life a creature to rival his grandfather’s. When the monster unavoidably escapes, hilarity and folly escalate.
This fast-paced, side-splitting musical is certain to leave you in stitches. This show is rated PG-13.
Performance dates are 7 p.m. Thursday, Nov. 18, Friday, Nov. 19, and Saturday, Nov. 20.
Tickets for adults are $10 each and $5 for students 18 and under. Tickets may be purchased at the door at the Wyoming Public Schools’ Dan Heintzelman Auditorium at 2125 Wrenwood St. SW or in advance by calling 616-530-7590 ext. 2367.
