For the first time ever, an annual art exhibition will be on display for one night only.
The 28th annual Tanglefoot public open studios event, “Straight & Wealthy,” will be held for one night only on Friday, Nov. 22, at 314 Straight Ave. SW, Door L.
This event in the past had a two-day model.
The 2019 participating resident artists include Tommy Allen, Alynn Guerra, Jason Villareal, Bud Kibby, Carlos Aceves and Rebecca Rodriguez. Guest artists Holly Bechiri and Jonathan Kloote will display their contemporary artwork in their individual studios. All of the pieces on display were made within the Tanglefoot building, which previously served as a flypaper factory.
Along with viewing their artwork, visitors can meet with the artists and make purchases. All funds raised will support the Tanglefoot studios.
