The Grand Rapids Public Museum is combining puzzles and craft beer on Tuesday, Aug. 15 in a special Beer Explorers event.
Puzzles & Pints invites attendees to drink craft beer while working together to solve a series of puzzles, games and brainteasers that are part of visiting exhibit Mindbender Mansion. Those who succeed are inducted into the Mindbender Society, a group of “elite puzzlers.”
Mindbender Mansion includes more than 45 individual and group brainteasers, puzzles and tricky problems to solve, all in a unique exhibit setting. Visitors to this “fun and quirky mansion” are invited to join the Mindbender Society by gathering hidden clues and secret passwords scattered throughout the various thematic rooms of the house.
Puzzles & Pints takes place from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. on Tuesday, with the bar open until 7:30 p.m.
Puzzles & Pints tickets are $4 for museum members, $11 for Kent County residents and $14 for non-members. Tickets include one craft beer, admission to Mindbender Mansion and entrance to all three floors of the museum. A cash bar will be available for additional drinks. Participants must be 21+.
