America’s Got Talent Extreme’s Nitro Circus is making a stop in Grand Rapids as part of the group’s North American tour.

Nitro Circus Live: Good, Bad and Rad, presented by A SHOC Energy, is scheduled for 7 p.m. Thursday, Sept. 1, at LMCU Ballpark, 4500 West River Drive NE.

The all-new show, which has been six months in the making, is a high-adrenaline performance led by stunt riders Ryan “R-Willy” Williams and Aaron “Wheelz” Fotheringham.

Good, Bad and Rad has a new stage set that offers fans the best view of all the action, as well as new features like the A SHOC Fun Box, where athletes first aim to jump 30 feet into the air to land on a small platform suspended in mid-air, then attempt flips and spins before dropping down to hit the lander below. The show also will debut new talent added to the Nitro Circus performer lineup.

For the North American tour, Nitro Circus has unveiled pit bike jousting, where riders will do combat — Nitro style — on compact dirt bikes, a new fighter jet contraption and flying pig, as well as a tandem pit bike and tandem BMX bike. Nitro’s FMX superstars also will hit the larger Next Gen ramp set up for increased hang time in the air, allowing them to try even bigger and more complex tricks.

“After all this time, Good, Bad & Rad is finally here,” Williams said. “I’m so excited to hit the road with this insane new show. We’ve been working closely with the production team to create some truly insane new show elements. And judging by the first crowd reactions, they will be just as much fun for fans to see as they are sketchy for us to attempt. But without any risk there wouldn’t be any reward, and this new stage set lets us go even bigger than ever before.”

Tickets start at $40 and are available here.
