The Grand Rapids Tidal Waves women’s tackle football team will be hosting tryouts for new players who are interested in playing for the 2021 season.
Tryouts are scheduled from 1-3:30 p.m. Oct. 17 and 24 at Douglas Walker Park, 1195 84th St. SW, Bryon Center.
“Life is short and full of regrets,” said Stacey Davis, defensive coordinator. “Don’t look back on your life and wonder what could have been. If you have even the smallest desire to be a part of something greater than yourself and live out your dreams, come see us to learn more.”
Females who will be at least 18 years old by April 2021 can try out for any position. The Tidal Waves will be hosting two free mini-camps for athletes who would like to become more familiar with the team and basic football drills in advance of the tryouts.
The mini-camps are scheduled from 1-3:30 p.m. Sept. 26 and Oct. 3 at Douglas Walker Park.
