John Ball Zoo will hold two magic-themed Wizarding Weekends this month.
The events will occur from 9 a.m.-6 p.m. this weekend, Sept. 12-13, and Sept. 19-20. Activities include lessons from zoo staff on caring for fantastical creatures, exploring locations such as Nocturnal Alley and the Forbidden Forest, and more. The weekends are family-friendly, and costumes are encouraged.
Visitors should note that social distancing measures will be in place at the zoo. John Ball Zoo recommends reserving timed-entry tickets online ahead of time. Walk-up tickets may be available, but the zoo does not guarantee this.
