A local museum will offer an enchanting experience.
Holland Museum will be the home for witches and wizards to explore from 11 a.m.-4 p.m. Feb. 29 at its Magic at the Museum event.
“This magical day will bring your favorite fictional book characters and mythical creatures to life,” said Ricki Levine, executive director of the museum. “It was a fantasy-filled day last year, and we are excited to host it again.”
Museumgoers are encouraged to dress as their favorite witch, wizard or other magical creatures.
There will be various activities, including a magical scavenger hunt through the museum; see an owl from the Outdoor Discovery Center; tarot card readings, where visitors can have their fortune read in the Dutch Galleries by a divination expert; and creating your own wand.
Menchie’s Frozen Yogurt will be handing out free samples and selling frozen yogurts at the museum throughout the day.
