One of the area’s most beloved holiday traditions is about to hit the stage.
The Grand Rapids Ballet will present “The Nutcracker 2019” on Dec. 13-15 and 20-22 at DeVos Performance Hall, 303 Monroe Ave. NW.
The sets will be by famed children’s book author and illustrator Chris Van Allsburg with designs by Tony Award winner Eugene Lee. Val Caniparoli is directing the choreography.
The Grand Rapids Symphony is providing the live music.
